This Is GATHER

A new magazine gives the Seminary’s many voices a place to come together

By Anne Stewart

Iam delighted to share with you the inaugural issue of GATHER, Princeton Theological Seminary Magazine. As the Seminary’s official publication, each issue will seek to reflect the character of Princeton Seminary through thoughtful reporting on a range of topics from the many diverse perspectives within our community.

This digital platform offers a fresh lens through which to see a familiar place. We invite you to encounter the Seminary anew through sound, image, and text.

Our team selected the name GATHER because this magazine is a convergence of the many voices of the Seminary. You will hear from students, faculty, staff, and alumni in their own words about the ways that God is at work on our campus and around the world. You will experience a slice of life from Princeton, as well as the reach of the Seminary community across the globe.

In this inaugural issue, you will learn about the hurricane relief efforts conducted by members of our Facilities department, view a moving tribute to Miller Chapel, watch a creative testimony by a student who is a member of the Deaf community, and read thought-provoking essays by Rev. Khristi L. Adams and President Craig Barnes.

Please let us know what you think. We would love to hear your feedback and story ideas at gather@ptsem.edu.

We hope you will find something inspiring in the voices we have gathered here.
